An update. My immigration journey has finally come to an end. I took oath on Saturday and after 15 years in the US of A, I'm finally a citizen! Thanks for all the support folks. It's been rough at times but N400 has been the smoothest of the filings. Good luck all! You're be there soon too.

Not sure, better ask your CPA. I had soft copies of all my filings which I printed out.

No special documents should be needed except your company tax returns. Just take for 5 years if you have. I was in the same boat and did not need or was asked anything else.

Well, checking traffic violations is public information on most court websites, at least in DC area. I just searched for my tickets and printed out the page since it is updated after the prepayment or fine or after court date. In my case, I had one of each and it clearly mentioned fines paid...

Completely agree. It's a scam to make money. If you're applying for PIO or OCI atleast, this renunciation should be free..since you're already about over $250-$300 to get those. Now this fee is $175 on top of that. What a rip-off.

Yeah, read more later and came to the same conclusion. Will renounce citizenship, get visa for 6 months. Complete travel and then apply for OCI or PIO.

Interview Update An update. Passed with interview (@ DC local office in Fairfax) and now the oath is scheduled for coming Saturday morning. :) Whole interview lasted about 20/25 min. Regular Civic questions followed by verifications regarding if all info is current regarding where you work...
