Hey everybody, I got my email from USCIS saying approved on Sep 01 2007, got my physical card in mail on Sep-11 2007. I was expecting my card some time in Oct, WHAT A SURPRISE....:D

I got my first email on Sep 01-07 saying Card production, then I got another email saying welcome letter is mailed on sep 04-07 Spoke with my lawyer in the morning. She says after emails we should get I797 approval notice mailed saying 485is approved. Then a welcoming letter explaining how to...

Congrats GC4ever I got approved too. Got email on Sep 01-2007. Looks like the officer who was handling our cases is awake after a Kumbakarna sleep :rolleyes: Iam so glad the wait is done. I hope all others have good luck soon.

Thanks Zinchak. Me and my husband did our FP's in August of 2006 and my children did FP's in March of 2007. Got my email on Sep 01 2007 saying card production and on Sep 04 2007 I got a email saying a welcoming letter is mailed, card will be mailed in 30-60 days.

Cograts Dummy! My Pd date is same as yours but I did not get any good news yet. I was always with TSC from the begining. You moved from VSC to TSC, probably thats what made a difference. Anyway's enjoy your freedom...

I used my AP last summer (2006) along with my husband and children. No complications. They just sent me over to a AP office. In my case he just enquired when was the last I went to India, where I work and what position and couple of friendly enquires from children, saying if they like U.S...and...

Basically G-28 is Notice of Appearance as Attorney or Representative. In my case (H1 extension and GC application) we used G-28 in two ways. My first case, my employer had to sign while applying for H1 extension/ GC. Second case is when my husband had to sign for H4 extension papers.

Hi Techy, I applied for my H1 extension on Nov 30-2006 (expires on Dec 02-2006). I used my AP to enter U.S this summer (returned on July 24-2006) Had no trouble at port of entry. Any way, myy lawyer says, I have to get my H1 stamping next time I visit India. She also recomended me not to...
