I had same concerns when I relocatde to an area governed by the TSC. My I-485, however, was originally filed in VSC and is still pending. When I wanted to apply EAD for my wife, our lawyer filed the application in VSC, which is where they hold our I-485 file.

Oberton, That is a great question. It will be interesting to see whether VSC does give priority for concurrently filed 140 and 485. In my particular case, I-140 (ND 12/02) was filed almost 8 month prior to 485 (ND 8/03). Obviously in my case concurrent (but delayed) filing had no effect!!
