I got an email about RFE on 9/28, waiting for details.
On Oct 1st leaving my GC filed employer to someone else and I get hit with RFE. USCIS works in mysterious ways .
I hope they don't deny my case stating you did not file AC 21.
I got the same reply for my Service Request.
During Infopass IO said my background check was clear but TSC IO said name check is pending.
I am not sure who to believe?
Opened request on 6/27 and got reply on 7/11 stating they are actively processing my case and they had to perform some additional review . Wait forever.
Infopass 7/10: Background check is clear.
TSC IO 7/13: Contact FBI as namecheck is still pending.
I am not sure who to...
I think this is what I sent, but even if you miss something its ok they will request it later but send the application before July 30th.
I don't remember how many photos I sent for 485, check with your attorney.
I485 application.
Copy of labor
Copy of I140 approval notice (If already...
You don't need H4 to stay in status if you had filed I-485. If she already started working using EAD then you should not file H4 extension.
For working you need EAD.
I went thru similar situation in 2005. From the day I called VSC it took only 3 days for me to receive my EAD.
I called VSC and they said not to work unless I have my physical EAD card eventhough I had the approval notice.
Too good to be true.
I spoke to IO in TSC on Friday and she looked at my case and said my case is pending due to FBI name check.
When I tried to tell her that I already had Info pass appointment 2 days ago and IO said that “All my background check was clear”, She interrupted and said firmly...
Me too... My case was transferred on 3/12/2007.
FYI
One of my friend who is not from India started the whole GC process last year is approved last week and I am stuck for this long. (What a suprise)
