You'll need to call consulate in 2-3 weeks after NVC forwards your case.Other wise they will send appointment letter 3 weeks before the scheduled interview.

If your consualate is bombay/delhi,then you could chose AOS option in I-140 and after the approval you should file for 485 and then apply for AC-140.And is also kind of quicker like regular CP path.But again,it will be upto the consulate to accept AC-140 case unlike the regular ones.

I guess,that should work as it is now.

I have my interview on 18th ..and paidd $335 fees to NVC.How should we prove this to consulate?Company paid to the NVC via the lawyer.And I don't have any information on the check number or something..nor I know if consulate have any information on this. Thanks,
