Gurus, I changed my address 2 months back. Sent AR-11, and called IIO. I called 800 number again one month later. IIO said they don't have authority to see the address under our applications, so they can't confirm the change of address. Is this right? Even before they set up this 800...

GAP between expired AP and new AP

Thanks for the posts Tammy2, I think in Murthy's discussion, she was talking about the case that the person does not have valid AP before leaving the US, which is not the same as my case. Here is the reply from my lawyer, which sounds reasonable to me: "If your new AP is approved before...

    My Collegue 02-184 got approved

As discussed in some threads, those early-bird cases were very likely to be age-out cases, until I confirmed my friend's case today. That's why we care.

    My Collegue 02-184 got approved

I posted his approval as information to everybody, to get some thoughts on how BCIS is approving cases. I am happy for my collegue, but mad about BCIS letting so many people waiting for > 1.5 years or more. Just talked to IIO, no information new at all. Asked why my friends got approved...

    My Collegue 02-184 got approved

Re: congrats He was not sure which EB he falls into, except he got 140 as L1. I don't think that matters as long as all EBs are current. However, we are seeing some abnormal early approvals recently, which leads to the doubt of BCIS working pattern. Worried. BBCHENGC WAC-02-098

    changin job immediately after approval.

Vipsha, you got a point. Who knows what's gonna happen 4 yrs later, but it won't do harm if you can manage to sit on bench for half year or more. This is what I've learnt from my past collegue. He applied for leave of absence soon after he got GC. Then he started to work as realtor (making...
