VSC released new Processing Time Report and all immigrant lawyers updated their web sites. We are stuck up with 12/03/03. Things are not going well in VSC. It looks like VSC is in recession like US economy.

Birth Certificates I did submit birth certificate issued by the Indian embassy. I did not see any problem with that certificate. In fact Rajiv Khanna suggested me to take certificate from the embassy. Why are you worrying?

Its not worth It's not worth to spend much time and resources on one person. It is better to ignore him as these kind of posts do not encourage a courteous discussion in this forum.

Every month the VSC is processing the applications received in 15 days. Last month it was 10/30/01, now it is 11/15/01. If the trend continues like this, very soon VSC will over take CA or TX processing centers in number of pending applications. Be patient for worst situation guys.

What documents an applicant need to attach with I-765 for renewal of EAD.

I-485 approval is taking good amount of time from 14 to 18 months in VSC.

My friend and his wife started processing their Green Cards simoustaneously by their respective employers. She got green card before his I-140 approval. Processing from two offices did not cause any problem to them but I am not sure whether his labor certicate was used for some body's Green Card.

I did not have birth certificate in proper format so my attorney advised me to get it from Indian embassy of Washington, DC. I got the birth certificate from the Indian embassy and attached to I-485 form. Of course I did not get approval yet as I applied I-485 in April 2002. Good luck.
