    well the company has to file for LC first When that is approved then it goes to uscis. I actually gave u wrong info. The labor dept is who checks up on salaries. i used to be on h1b.

    many companies have stopped filing h1b visas. they cost the companies more money. plus USCIS constantly checks up to make sure the h1b workers are not used as cheap labor. We got frequent raises. so h1b is more difficult these days. mostly if the company is desperate.

    As long as you can prove they are yours. carry birth certificates and official name change documents. even ur own birth certificate where your father's name is visible. Anything you think they might ask for, have it with you.

    Agree with Dziecka. Carry your highest degree for sure. Once you can show that, odds are they won't care much about the rest. But like said take the rest just in case. My experience has been that CO push applicants through very quickly because they don't hav time to waste. BUT... if they have...

    You're right Dziecka. raevsky is lucky my keyboard isn't working, i can't type as much as i want. Princedriss you'll be fine. AOS or CP, whichever. U don't even need "proof of unobtainability". lol. just do as Dziecka says and carry your university diploma.
