You dont need to register if you were a lawful nonimmigrant.

True. I have seen that so many times. (Missing 13th floor). If I were to choose the date for my oath, I would choose 13th, just to prove that its nonsense to treat 13th as an unlucky number.

I dont think its a stupid question. I dont care for any number, day or night, solar eclipse or not, 9/11, or not. But for you it may be life or death. Do whatever gives you peace of mind. ncc

Congrats man. Your interview is so close to the presidential election. If you were able to get the same day oath, would you be able to vote or you must get the passport first and then register yourself etc before you are eligible for voting?

You dont need any documents except the infopass and your alien number. They will look into the system and tell you what's going on. Good luck to you. ncc
