Your interview is so close to the presidential election. If you were able to get the same day oath, would you be able to vote or you must get the passport first and then register yourself etc before you are eligible for voting?

You have to be a registered voter for at least 29 days before any election. at the voting center you have to show your Passport or NC along with voter ID. Also,even if you don't have voter ID, your name should be there on the voters list they have at the center. Rules also varies from state to state.
