I got my 485 Approved, 03/31/2003. Received approval notice in mail 04/06/03. RD 09/05/2001 Want to know what all will be done at the local INS office, when you go for stamping. What would they keep and what we retain? Anybody having information, please provide.

Yeap.. I was surprise at the speed of delivery of the Approval notice. AD 03/31/03 Lawyer and myself received approval notice today 04/04/03 Where as my RFE took good 12 days to reach me.

RD- 09/05/2001 RFE - 03/07/03 Approved 03/31/03 Notice recvd 04/04/03

I think they are back on track... Or may be some officers are updating the status online or something of that sort. I was approved on 03/31/03 and both AVM And webstie status updated simultaneously.

I am not sure how the mailing process works as I was approved on 03/31/02. I recvd my approval notice in mail today 04/04/03. That is incredible speed of delivery. Hope you guys too get it soon.

I spoke with my lawyer when mine got approved and he mentioned I-9 ( I believe the approval notice ) comes in quicker than the regular RFE notices... He said may be 4-5 days. But your case condradicts. My AD 03/31/03 Still waiting for Letter.

And if you are using a calling card.... The digits u pres don't translate. I had similar problem. Try calling directly without the calling card. Good luck
