"to be worked" This could simply mean that the INS has your case in a room where they match up and combine your fingerprints with your case file. Once your file is combined, they send it off to the adjudicators. No one knows how long that will take, though.

I did not get the same message... EB3 non-RIR RD: 07/31/2001 I was told that my fingerprints and my file have not been combined yet and that I should wait another 30 days...

Sounds like more bunk... My I-140 was approved in June 2000 and I am still waiting for the case to be assigned to an officer.
