I called the 800 number and got transfered to an immigration officer cause I already had 3 inquiries. The officer told me that they are "actively working on the case" and that he can not even take a referal. he said I can only wait.
does anyone have a similar experience?
immigration watch will translate what online case says, they are assuming that this message is approval. my experience says it is a general message triggered by anything (fp, IR-11, approval, whatever
I would make an info pass appointement and take a copy of the email and online satatus. tell them the 800 number guys told you to go without an approval letter. u never know, it might work, technically i dont think they need the approval letter for the stamp.
not sure if it would work, its...
I think Brij523 has a point. Also the value of paid items compared with the value of perfume might be relevent. If you paid 200$ for the stuff you bought and the perfume is worth 30$, then you'd have a strong point that it is a mistake not shoplifting, especially with medication and other...
I did early FP in Dallas, I showed them TSC letter asking to go to local office and infopass appointment, and told them the 800 number told me to do early FP so that it is done before my infopass appointement.
they did not really understand the whole thing, they realized I have a special...

your best bet is to call nsc and tell them you went to the local office and they told you contradicting info. They will transfer you to a TSC immigration officer. The same happened with me, and the rep transfered me directly

Did you give your personal information?
Since you already...
transit visa is required in some cases

THey are really coming out with strange responses. I was told to go to the local office and complete I-89. I scheduled INFOPASS and I was told there that I-89 can only be completed after approval, and they told me to wait. I called the 800 number and talked to an immigration officer who told me...
