What is this, help

I initiate a case status inquiry for me and my wife two weeks ago (ND July 2002). Today, we received a letter from TSC saying:

The status of this service request is: Please contact INFOPASS to schedule appointment with Immigration services.

What does this mean? It is definitely not approval. It does not seem to a standard response either. Anybody has seen that before?

THey are really coming out with strange responses. I was told to go to the local office and complete I-89. I scheduled INFOPASS and I was told there that I-89 can only be completed after approval, and they told me to wait. I called the 800 number and talked to an immigration officer who told me that the notice must have been sent by error.
