Update on USCIS website

why are they showing i-140 dates saperatly? what the hell with fujie's that cartoon memo?

trust?trusting dates? trusting who? uscis? hmmm

I scanned 25 cases filed on my date, Sep 09, only 5 are approved. In the profile page my cases was last updated on May 4th. Don't know what to think.

Are they processing my case or did they update my case to mark it concurrent?

Any ideas?

Perhaps now they have started with memo. I think they sent your case for checks etc. We will see the effect in next couple of weeks now. Good part is that they have not slowed down on speed. Maybe the ones that you saw are non-concurrent filers.

That is OK. Ex. Separate EB2 filers and concurrent EB2 filers will have same processing date.

Can we post it in Update on USCIS website? That is central location for everyone - joyd has done his piece of keeping separate relevant threads - now we should do our piece of keeping info in one location.

manoj2003,
the dates are moving which is in a sense good, because even if it does not make your case approved (which it could ) you can open a case status referal request and force them to take a look at it.
if it does not move / they dont update the latest dates then we have no choice to do the status check.

r_sada , do agree with you...

just wondering why they decided not to follow FOM.
based on FOM, we must see i-140 dates fr non concurrent and must be a change in 485 dates as it would be controlled by i-140...

I am really wondering abt that memo, anyways as u said...it atleaste keep us moving... mine is SEP 26th, lets see when do they touch that(oct 26) so that i can try and open STATUS enquiry, i know i am not that lucky to get there attaintion based on processing dates...

good luck to every one

You never know im in last week of november , 2 months away from you.
but its getting there. its definitely better than the Oct 15th 2002 date that we saw for ever.
reg the FOM memo, i dont think the IT is so very reactive that had made the necessary changes to get this within the next update.
are you kidding me. i have worked in IRS before i know it just does not work.

My 485 last update date is still Jan 7th, when I changed address. I haven't received FP notice.

Keeping fingers crossed.

Not much seems to have changed though. EAD has moved a month, AP is still in December, 485 is still in Feb'02.

Good point! People pls use this thread Update on USCIS website for discussions on this topic so we don't loose them...

For now merging the threads together so everything stays in one place..

joyd,

Appreciate the fact that VSC moved 1.5 months for EB2, 1 each for EB3 and EAD in 2 weeks and that is good speed. Let us not ask for sky.

485 has not moved - you are right on that. But for rest of the stuff, VSC has definitely done a good job in last 6-8 weeks.

I don't have I765 though ... but it does have the dates from back to 2002.

Start a project nemessis with scanned data(like Project Kashmir). I will try to run your scripts from one of the windows machines that has Excel on it (I have remote access to it.). Since it is not in my direct control, I may send you data at different times of day(my machine hasn't got Excel) and till I have access to that machine. Come up with more idea(like Project Kashmir), so that data is relevant and can be analyzed.

Maybe we can get some more people who would like to join it.

Project nemessis - come on ...

I am using like anybody else here the Excel macro that scans USCIS WEB site. I didn't follow "Project Kashmir" so I am not aware of what he is doing. I was following only sbctsublc's data and I decided to do something for 2003 since he stopped. I am unable to do the initial scanning for the dates between what I posted in I485 forum, that was the reason I asked for help. If you want to do the scan for other dates, I am grateful for that .. all of us will benefit and we can contribute.

BTW if you're a programmer and know VB can you write a small macro that where in the active spreadsheet it can tell you how many cases you have approved, transferred, RFE etc so it will make the count easier for me ...

Thanks a lot in anticipation ... for you or somebody else who is willing to do that.
