TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker

Is anyone here with EB3 case from April 2001?

I filed everything concurrently under EB3 in April 2001.

Got my I-140 approved in 2004.
File transferred to Newark, NJ
I got interviewed by Officer at Newark August 2005.
I was told visa # not available for my date so I have to wait.
Now I am on my 3rd EAD and no sign of GC.
I am just frustrated.

Just wanted to see if anyone got approved from April 2001 yet.

PD not printed on I485 receipt?

I just realized that the Priority Date box in my I485 receipt notice was blank. Are yours like that? Thanks!

Probably they know it because we hand over I-94. If your wife travelled on EAD and AP, I am not sure how would they know.

But the actual interesting tidbit about my conversation with the service center is that when the lady asked about my wife's case number she muttered "and she is out of the country now?". Which she was - at the moment of the last two LUDs on our cases, but she got back couple months ago, using AP. Maybe it was the reason it is dealyed, not the name check? Unlikely though...

Apparently that information was in the system. Big brother is watching.

my husband just used POJ trick to call TSC. The staff opened his file and went through it. He did not say anything about name check, but just said "according to our current processing speed, you should be able to receive it within 2 months". Is it a good sign?

GC process info

Hi guys,

I've been watching this forum closely to get some sense of my own process; at some stages it helped a lot, at some a bit less - but I think info here is pretty useful. Anyway, I'd like to share some of my own experience...

As you probably noticed, there was some kind of glitch with my EAD: I went to local office and get 'interim' one on 91st day, called TSC the same day asking them what is the problem, and the very next day get EAD approved. I still have no idea why EAD stuck in the first place.
While dealing with EAD issues, I called TSC several times and along the lines figured out that my name check was not cleared at least up to EAD approval date. Next time LUD on 485 showed up upon approval (adjudicating officer told me he approved it on 11/14, although notice was prepared the next day) - apparently no LUD on name check clearance.
Another observation - dates on USCIS website (and even there internal system) do not always reflect things correctly. On 11/20 adjudicating officer called us to verify some info before approving my wife's 485. I asked him about my card and he told me that it was manufactured and sent on 11/20. I was very surprised, however, to see the card in the mail on exact same day.
I guess this is it. And good luck anyone waiting for their GC!

I wouldn’t trust the USICS staffs over phone

Why you don't ask your attorney to initiate an inquiry with USCIS once the current processing dates pass 30 days your RD.

Surprise !!!

When we ask about the name check clearance over phone, often we get response like “they don’t have any access to that information … blah blah .....”. From this posting, it looks like they know most of the info (including name check clearnace) when they look into the file.

Any India,China EB2 folks with I-485 RD later than July 2006 who got I-485 approval

Any India,China EB2 folks with I-485 RD later than July 2006 who got I-485 approval from TSC ?
I guess some EB1 fellows were there with stories of "applied in october and got approved in november" kind of stories.

cannot. the date has not yet pass 30 days.
Our RD is 4/28 and now the processing date is only upto 5/16. We have to wait until it pass 5/28 and then we can initiate the inquiry. That's what TSC told us and so did our lawyer.

Is your PD current ? If so it might be a good sign

yes, we are in EB2 worldwide category (Taiwan).
When TSC staff went through my husband's file, he actually also read those info from his file, too. Then he told my husband that we should expect it within 2 months.

Oh, sure they do. She was not even looking at the actual file (I did not care - it will not be done any faster if I know) - she was looking into her computer - complained how slow it was at that moment, so we chatted about that a bit. I just got the reference numbers that I have asked and hung up.

I just noticed too after reading this post :D There's also a box which says Applicant with my name and a number which begins with A. I also noticed that my receipt number is from TSC although I sent my application to NSC

Seems i'm struck in Name check now, It took almost 15 calls with TSC to confirm it, I notarized the FOIPA request and send it in a registerd mail (Did faxed to the FBI no too, but thought when i send a mail it would be better than faxing them), I have also send an email to TSC requesting more information reagarding my case (have no clue whether they are going to reply or not). Is there any thing you guys do apart from these. On 2001 i requested a FBI Report for canadian Immigration (i never applied though) i have no clue whether that is causing a delay or not.

Hey Choclito,

Thanks a lot for the reply and many congratulations to you and your family on getting approved. :)

I filed under RIR/EB3/NJ and my lawyer sent in the application at the end of April which was received on April 30th by USCIS. :( Can you tell me when USCIS received your application? This will help me figure out how far are they in approving the cases in April month.

Thank you.
