Seeing most of the threads lacking enough replies, could I suggest we start a "TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker" for all the 485 applicants to post related issues in this thread?

My status:
PD 5/23/2001
Finger Printing: 4/21/2005
140: Approved
485: filed 6/3/2004

hi Annoosa,

I am interested in learning about immigration options for dentists from Foreign/US Dentistry schools. Can I PM/email you?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Andy Garcia,

It seems not only we have almost similar dates, we also had the same RFE... but i c that u did not get FP yet... I went to the ASC and told them that i got a RFE which means that my case is in final processing... so one center turned me down and the other let me do it... becuase if u get it done u should be approved in a matter of a month from now...

Your priority date is very early. Could you tell you are EB2 or EB3? Indian? Thanks,

case trasfers

Thank you Annoosa. Appreciate your response.

Have another question,
Can we request our case be transfered to local office ?
Are there any problems with that ?

I saw some posts in other threads, that they (local) office might treat the transferrred date as the applied date - so our case might to to the end of the line at the local office - is this true ?

regards,
ny

I have no clue but my understanding is that it is always better to keep ur case at the service center this way it moves faster

Should I-485 cases like yours with priority date earlier than the cut-off date be processed now? If not, do you know any reason?

Hi Annoosa;
I went to Jacksonville(Florida) DO and showed the I-485 receipt to the officer of the ASC and she told me no problem and they did my fingerprints code 3

I485 at TSC

My I-485 application was just tranferred from Nebraska to Texas, asylum-based application, fingerprinting and medical completed few months agao and I received a I-797C notice of action from Nebraska saying my file was transferred to TSC which is now supposed to have jursdiction over my case. I checked TSC webpage and they do not have jurisdiction over New York, where I live.

Is this a good thing? Or should I be concerned?

Thanks for the advice.

well it is definetly a good thing... since TSC is the fastest in the I-485 cases those days...... but if i were u i will ask
