Processing Date Update

The processing dates are updated on the web site. That is probably why we had the LUDs the last two days. I looks like they are still within 6 months range.

The message didn't change when I got the LUDs on 10/11 and 10/12. My wife's was the same - there was just the approved message about 7 days later.

TCS processing date reports are BS

I don't trust TCS's 485 processing dates. On any publishing date, they report the processing date exactly equal to reporting date minus 6 months.

Look at the last three processing day reports pulished by TSC:

(published date) (485 processing date)
(08-Sep-06) (08-Mar-06)
(19-Sep-06) (20-Mar-06)
(12-Oct-06) (11-Apr-06)

They want to "pretend" that they are fulfilling their 6-month processing time commitment. But who are they kidding? ;)

At least we can initiate inquiries after 30 days past of current processing time.

You are exactly right. Once it reaches your RD, you will be eligible to request.... Still, we hope we will get approval without doing that request. Let pray for good luck for everyone
 
At least TSC is trying, if not pretending

to meet the 6 months goal. If you check other centers' process date report, you will notice TSC is the best in processing employement based I485. This is better than nothing... at least they show they care about efficiency, and they are aware of the 6 month promise... unlike CSC and NSC, don't even mention VSC, they don't even bother to show they care.

I just feel lucky that my case ended up with TSC. Having suffered the longest torture by NY DOL, I am finally getting lucky to "get rewarded with Texas efficiency". That's how I tell myself.

You feel justified to inquire about your case status if your case has passed their published process date... that's an advantage for you to see TSC post 4/11/06 as the current process date for I485 (employment based).

You are absolutely correct, Richshi.
I suffered for 4 years in Labor Certification because of California DOL and then Philadelphia BEC. I still see some people with my PRiority date waiting for Labor certification.

Texas Service Center is making an attempt at getting things right. In fact in many cases I see that they process faster than the times they publish.

I'm glad my cases got assigned to TSC.

In what form we can request the information after 30 days?
Do we have to call the NSC 800 # or is there any other way we can request the information?

LUD pattern

Looking at signatures of some, it appears most them gets LUDs within 2
months after the Finger Printing LUD. Mine is going to be 2 months and no LUD . Is it in anyway indication that extended security check is going on ?
Any others similar to my pattern of LUDs ?

Most people repot LUD on 485 after the FP. But not in my case. There were LUD on Approved I-140, AP but not on I-485.

I do not know what to make of it.

Most people who reported MASS LUDs (10/11 & 10/12) on 485 has a RD/ND of w/in the 6 month timeline of Texas' 485 processing dates.

I'm guessing it's the system/program going through the cases that are w/in their processing deadlines and that in turn will inform the adjudicating officer that they need to get these cases out of their desks.

The number should be the one posted here several times (some people use it to call them for figuring out what their FP and name check status, which we do not recommend even some people are still very stubborn on it ), but there is an option asking you if your case passed processing date then press 'x' (I don't remember which number is). Anyone please correct me if I am not right.

Also EAD, AP were approved and received for me and wife. I think the PPS is a very useful tool to speed up the process. Good luck to everyone, this site has been very helpful.

I guess your PD must be very old and that is the reason for the fast approval.
My Rd for 485 is Nov 05 and they keep telling me that namecheck has not been cleared.
