I know there hasn't been lot of finger printing notices this year (2005).

But with only few people receiving FP notices this year, does anybody see any pattern/trend??????

This case has been approved. On February 7, 2005, an approval notice
was mailed.

Finger Prints ND - Not yet.

Did you find any further details about it? I am also thinking about the same situation as my wife will be going on vacation soon, I have not received the FP notice yet but my concern was if I get the FP notice in her obsense what to do.

Hi folks,

I have received FP notices for myself and my wife to appear on Feb 10th at local USCIS office. However, my wife has gone to India and she will be back in the US only in the first week of March. I have few questions:

1). What happens if I postpone the appoinment? The notice clearly says "RESCHEDULING YOUR APPOINMENT WILL DELAY YOUR APPLICATION". What would be the implication in terms of time delay if I reschedule the appoinment to another month i.e, March, 10th?

2). Is it better for me to appear for the appoinment and reschdule for my wife until after a month? Or, should we reschedule for both of us?

2). The FP notice gives just only one option saying: To reschedule the appoinment, complete the bottom of the FP notice and send the original back to USCIS. In the bottom, it just gives one option: Please reschedule my appoinment for the next available: Wednesday afternoon / Saturday afternoon. Well, I wonder how I should request to reschedule for a month later.

I would be grateful if someone can share their experience/knowledge in this regard.

I would also be thankful if someone can update my information into the Excel spreadsheet that the group maintains, as I have a linux machine.

Labor Priority Date: FEB 26 2002. [ATL /GEORGIA]

LABOR approved date: JUL 29th 2004.

I140/I485 concurrently filed.

I140 RD - 10/01/2004
I485 RD - 10/01/2004

I140 ND - 10/05/2004
I485 ND - 10/05/2004

AP & EAD approved on 10/26/2004.
NO LUD's on I485 and No finget print notices yet.

I140 Approved on 02/07/2005. The mail says the APPROVAL NOTICE has been mailed today...

FP problem with reschedule - Please help need

I got FP notice last week and it is schedule on 02/08/2005.
I haven’t got any letter for my wife. May be lost in the mail

Today my attorney told me that they got my wife’s FP notice which is also scheduled
as mine (02/08/2005).

But the problem is that my wife is visiting India and she can not attend FP by tomorrow.
I have no option other then reschedule her FP.

My attorney told me that reschedule can delay the process. There is 60 days grace
period after the appointment date.

My concern is that is it ok to get finger print done with in 60 days grace period
instead of rescheduling??

I would be thankful if someone can give some suggestion.

No update(s) on the online status neither any approval emails. But recieved the approval document stating that the 140 was approved on Feb 04,2005.

some questions

Congrats for 140 approval.

Below are my dates for concurrent filing.
I got an RFE for education evaluation. My lawyer said he replied RFE with a copy of education evaluation.
As per my knowledge whoever applied after April 30, 2004 they will get I-140 and 485 approval together.
My 140/485 dates are in Sept 04 means 140 will not be approved till 485 date is current? Do I get approval
for 140 before 485? I got finger print notice and scheduled on March 2005.

What is priority date? I do not see any where in my applications? We applied labor in Jan 2004. What is current priority dates going on.
I am EB3 category.
