Submitted RFE recently and waiting for approval

Got FP2 notice today for spouse. Scheduled on 07/13/04. Nothing for me (primary)yet. Probably will show up in few days. Will try to go early once mine has come.

Guys Please advice me how long to wait after I-485 RFE submission

RFE 1-485,NIW case

First of all accept my thanks to all, thsoe are keeping this thread is really valuable source of information to all.
1. ND 03/13/2002 (I140)
2. Then applied I-485 ( ND : 09/23/2002)
3.1FP ( 10/01/2002)
4.RFE on I-140 on march 2003
5. I 140 approved on (09/15/2003) NIW
6. 2FP 05/19/2005
7.RFE I-485 05/27/2004
8.RFE received INS on 06/ 15/2004 ( EVL, J1 Waiver, IAP-66 forms)
My point is how long it will take maximum to get approved. Minimun may be 2 days but I want to know maximum I can expect , if before that, it got approved by GOD's grace ok.
As my case is NIW, I got an job offer in a good school, do you people think I will move before my final approval.My last date to accept this job is June 30th, 2004. Kindly advice guys.

Hi Sram,

My I485 ND is also on Nov 2002(Nov 8th), but so for I have not received any RFE's for myself or spouse. Well, we got FP2 notice for myself & spouse, was scheduled on May 18th 2004, but went early on May 8th 2004.

Waiting on RFE's or approval...

Did you receive any FP2 notice ? or you may get approval w/o FP2 as you did your FP1 on June 2003 which is still not expired.

Keep me updated...

Have you got the 2nd FP yet?. I am watching the mail everyday. Did you wife take 1 FP same day as you? The only thing we can do is to pray.

Mine is a RIR/EB-3 case. As I wrote before, I never changed employers from the time my labor petetion was filed.

As for your case I am not quite sure what NIW stands for. I am not competent enough to advise you. Thanks.
 
I have received 2 FP notice on 6/26/2004 by mail. Its been over one month RFE response was received by USCIS and last update was 5/24/2004.
Finger print schedule date is 8/5/2004 and I am planing to get it done early.

We both had FP1 on same day. I have not got the FP@ yet.. But am hoping that it will show up in a day or 2. No changes in online status or LUD.

Did your wife status or LUD change becuase of 2nd FP notice?
 
No , it did not change. Just spoke to attorney, he also got the notice for spouse but not for me. So wait continues.............. :)

Any updates on your case. I think yours is the case where RFE was sent and then FP2 and you have been waiting for more than a month after FP2. Do you know whether you are stuck because of Name check? Was just trying to figure out how many days it takes after FP2 ( when RFE is done)

During the last couple of months the way things went, it seemed that we guys who had their RFE done, are done with this torture. Now its same as before.... :mad:

If what you said was true, I might have just missed the opportunity. My lawyer only informed me about my RFE ONE day before the due date (June 17th) :mad:
 
My spouse did get FP2, I(primary) did not.But then I got RFE and spouse did not. Seems like balancing act by USCIS such that you do not feel jealous of spouse!! ( this is the only logic I came up with as to why I did not get FP2 and spouse got a week back) :D :confused:
