Submitted RFE recently and waiting for approval

OK, I'm done

Finally, the useless CIS :rolleyes:
approved my case (for myself and my wife) on June 15. I just got the email
this morning around 7:30am.

My details:
RD 3/2002
ND 4/11/2002
FP1 5/2002
FP2 12/2003
3 EADs for wife, I continued on my H1
2 APs each
RFE 4/23/2004 for employment
RFE recd by USCIS 5/18/2004
AD 6/15/2004

Hi Guys,
I'd like to thank everyone in this forum. This is beginning to sound like an Oscar speech! :) :) :) I feel like I almost know you guys, especially the regular visitors (including old-timers like paulclarke etc).

To those who have already been approved and are still hanging out here:
get a life, guys :) :) :)

To all those waiting, and especially the 2001/2002 filers: I feel your pain. I sincerely wish all of you get approved very soon (preferably yesterday).
Nobody deserves to wait this long for this stupid thing. You know what,
paulclarke and co are right: your turn WILL come.

Just like ih8uscis, received email notifications this morning. Both my wife's and my case got approved on 06/15/04.

PS. I am not sure if my 3rd EAD renewal (applied last week) triggered the approval.

The last status update was on 05/04/04 as USCIS received the RFE response on 05/03/04.

I know this question was directed at chq, but in case you are interested,
in my case, after the RFE was recd on May 18, the last update was on May 24.
The last update (before approval) for my wife was 12/10/2003
(date of second fingerprint, we did not get an RFE for her). So I'm not sure
that last update date is that useful a guide. I'm sorry if this disappoints you.

Hope you get approved very soon.

Did you pick up wrong file to update by any chance? It does not show Idreams being approved.

Also whats your take on 2nd FP.? Our first FP dates are close.

My take on 2nd FP... hmmm

GRCA-2002, honestly I am at my wits end to put any logic into these approvals.
My take on this at the beginning (even before we all received these RFEs) was that, USCIS would love to save some money avoiding the 2nd FPs.

Hence they would start picking up the files due for 2nd FPs for approvals.
It did happen.

But now it looks like "Motor City casino" to me. :)
 
Hi I have sent RFE reply to USCIS day before yesterday

This is little wierd...
I prepared reply separately for myself and my wife in two different covers, and then i put those two covers in to a single big cover and send it through usps overnight...

Today they modified by message saying that they have received the reply blah blah balh... for my self..
But for my wife it still says that, RFE was sent on ......

This is weird.. both reached there at the same time but one was being acknowledged and the other wasn't.? has this happend to any of you guys...

RD 09/2002
REF issued on 18th May to my old address
REF issued on June 5th to my new address
(Emp, BC for my self, proof of marriage for my wife)

REF replied on 15th June.. Received and message updated for myself June 17th
 
2nd FP

I received 2nd FP notice today. The appt. is for Jul 30th, but I plan to go earlier. I didn't receive any FP notice for my wife even though it expired 3 months before. Just wondering if I can check if they had send any FP notice for my wife earlier or just to know the status. Any suggestions?

ND: 11/7/2002
FP1: 3/12/2003
RFE received by USCIS: 6/7/2004
