Lets keep this thread alive. I would like to try to work out how many times the last updated date changes between RFE receipt and APL.

It looks a bit like there is a update about 5 days after RFE receipt. Then it looks like APL can happen any time after that. Porkchops case seems to have been like that. It also seems like there can be multiple updates between RFE and APL. Ohio is there anything about your case that is not plain vanilla? FP expiring, etc?

my case is plain vanilla other than FP expired 04/29/2004.
I got my FP done on 01/29/2003. I am not sure if FBI processed
the FP on the same date i took FP. Is there some way to find
that out?

chq: thanks. Looks like they issued the 2nd FP notice before they received your RFE response.

I just checked my status and the "last updated" date changed again.

4/26 Recevied RFE response.

The updated date changed on 4/29 and again on 5/4. I am not sure what they are doing but I am expecting my 2nd FP notice any time soon as mine were expired on 3/26/04.

My case if stright forward like you. Same Employer through out the US stay. Recently H1B got extended with same employer for 3 more years.

By plain vanilla i meant no ac21 or rfe being different
than the standard(EVL, Birth) . Nothing exceptional with
the case.
 
My wife and I both had FP taken today Sat, 05/08/04. our scheduled date was 05/27/04.
