Submitted RFE recently and waiting for approval

Your details discourages me ... You should have been done by now. There is no reason for your case to be waiting - You are done with second FP and also with "the" RFE.

Did you try inquiring if the FPs have been posted or not ?

I will call FBI to check on my FP tomorrow. btw, There are two factors that may have caused the delay:
1) My damn laywer only informed me about my RFE a day before the RFE due date (June 17) and my FP2 was done on 04/28. If FP2 triggered name check after 04/28, it may have expired after 35 days.

2) My wife's FP didn't pass because it wasn't clear enough. It may have affected my case also.
 
Do you think that USCIS has different timeframe to handle cases with applicants from different country/nation origin? For example, it may take longer for Chinese or Indian to get I485 approved than for US alliance such as European or Australian.
 
GRCA, did you get your 2FP? Looks like a number of Dec 2002 filer who has 1Fp in 2/2003 got 2FP. Don't know what's going on.

I still did not get FP2, but am going to tag along with spouse tomorrow to see if they will take my FP with out notice.

I did my Second Finger print on 07/01/2004, Updated by INS on 07/08/2004.
I guess the wait continues....


I 485: 12/20/2002.
1 FP: 02/01/2003.
RFE: 05/06/2004, Response Received by INS on 05/27/2004.
2 FP: 07/01/2004, Updated by INS on 07/08/2004.

I have already posted my approval details in a different thread. But just for the record.

I 485 Application - Nov. 02 (EB 2 / RIR) (LIN 03040XXXXX)
FP - July 03
RFE Received - May 26, 2004
RFE Responded - June 14, 2004
Approval - July 06.

Just today we received the orinial copy of the official notification from the attorney; we intend on going some time this week for the stamping.
 
This is interesting.....God knows what logic they apply here..looks like another round of 'Hope'..

My RFE reply date is June 17, only 3 days after yours. Hopefully I can see my approval soon. :cool:

Made an unsuccessful attempt to give FP2 with out notice. The lady was sympathetic and all but said nothing could be done with out the notice. Spouse's FP2 was done in just few minutes.( spouse had the notice). I guess the wait continues. :( :mad:
 
GRCA-2002,

Have you tried to call the service center and question them on your case? I noticed it had passed 60 days after they received your RFE, I knew somebody must think I am kind of stubborn because the process date posted by CIS was earlier of 2002, but I will have a try when July 27 comes, as 60 days time frame past, I was told I could call them.
