Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

Our case has been transfered to HARTFORD on 08/11/2004, My I-485 RD is 07/05/02. Looking at the Hartford processing times they are processing cases with Receipt date of June 2003, so does this mean we can expect our interview in the next couple of months.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks

I think TD. But not only. Maybe TD, luck and often inquiry.
My case was transferred on Dec 2003 and had interview on July.

well according to HArtford website it is taking 12 months to process 485 well if this is correct then I am 30 days off 12 months and I haven't heard a thing the processing dates have not shifted what is going on!!!!

Case transfer

My case was transfered on June 2004. Last week i took a appointment and went to hartford office to find out the status of my application. Officer told me it's going to take another 6 month to bring up this case for interview

I have my second finger prints done yesterday in Hartford, my case was transfered do MSC on Nov 19 2003 and I still have this message when I check my status on USCIS web page. Now I wonder how long is going to take for an interview!?

Hi Mariopol

Although you had your fingerprints in hartford your case is still in MSC I would assume.
There is a Forum for transferred to MSC in 485 issues in Vermont
unfortunatly I am of no help my case has been in Hartford since Oct 03 and the online message has not changed since it updated with that info. so I am in the dark but it seems to be processing Aug 24th 03 so I guess I should hear something soon.
there needs to be some way to track district office cases because processing dates do not really help.

Feedback on 485 cases transferred to local office

Finally guys i got confirmation about the transferred 485 applications processing timings. What ever the timings are provided by district offices are only relevant for family based applications that are directly filed in local office. For transferred applications officially there is no date as such. The only way to know the status of the case is to talk to Immigration officer by fixing an appointment through Infopass. I really have no idea how much really congressman or senator can help.

I contacted the senator John Warner's office today morning, the lady who handles the immigration related issues said that we can only inquire with the district office only if we didn't receive any response after 6 months the case is transferred.

My case is transferred to washington dc office on 23rd september, 2004. It can take up to 6 months in the normal course of time for the interview to be scheduled. In some cases it might be in 1 -4 months time also.

All the people whose cases are transferred have to keep their spirit up and wait for the decision/interview letter thats all i can tell guys after researching from last 4-5 days extensively.

Thanks for the Info Wonderboy but I think they just feed you full of crap to keep you quiet (pardon my French) if you follow the HArtford Transfer Tracker and I am sure many of the other trackers the dates seems to tally to one year plus to receive interview and approval.

Hi gpt_amit,

My case has been moved to washington dc local office on september 23rd 2004. I contacted the local senator's office and also congressman's office. The local office doesn't publish the processing timings for transferred cases to local office. What ever the district office processing timings we all are comparing at are only for cases (family based cases) filed at local office. They both told that it may take any where from 2 months - 7 months. If it exceed beyond that period and don't receive the interview letter then get back to us.
