DV 2022 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Hello everyone,

So finally after 25 days I received my Acceptance Text and after 26 days my payment was cashed (Info updated on the DV 2022 AOS Timeline).

As previously mentioned, my window to apply for my OPT extension is open until February 11 which is when my current EAD expires and I fall out of my F-1 status.
Should I go ahead and file my OPT Extension as my AOS is being processed as well? This is application can be done electronically and according to people that recently filed, it took them 3-4 weeks until they received their Updated EAD which in this case is for two additional years.

Thank you very much

Leo

I would do that, if I were you. Looks like things at USCIS slowed down significantly.

We are still waiting for the update after our Biometrics appointment.

a former opt who won DV. I would advise to go ahead with opt extension.

Here is news that is affecting AOS:

Could you please elaborate this further? What does this mean?

What's there to elaborate on, it's clear... you can get your medical whenever you want, until Sept. 30, 2022 (before your interview of course/ end of year).

Hello everyone,

I was navigating and found this information (attached screenshot). I thought that the pictures needed to be attached to our AOS package, do we need to bring two (2x2 in) photos to the interview?
Link

Thank you

Hi all,
1. Do we assemble and submit the package together with derivative applicant?

2. And do we have to make separate money order even if it’s in one package?

3. and how to fill the money order correctly?

4. Do you know national act INA section 245(i) applies to J visa holder?

Ps. I have J visa waiver

5. Forgot to ask. Is it okay if information does on I-485 do not match ds260? Do they check ds260? For example, the address where I have lived filled differently

1. That is the recommendation.
2. You don’t have to, however issuing separate payment for each applicant is recommended.
3. Google how to fill out money order for further guidance.
4. INA 245(i) is about AOS eligibility, it is applicable to everyone filing AOS.

5. Forgot to ask. Is it okay if information does on I-485 do not match ds260? Do they check ds260? For example, the address where I have lived filled differently
It depends - is the difference minor or major? You need to provide more details if you want us to help you figure out if what you have is a minor difference or not.
