We are family of four 2 kids and me and my spouse then why do they show only my name in members and in Total person (one)
Did they not have entered properly from our application or Does any one got the same thing with family of more then one person

What does above codes mean can some one please help us.

Got IA letter with interview in LA

Hi Gurus
here are my timelines.
Applied Nov 17th 2003
File No : Dec 18th 2003
IA : July 27th 2004(I got info on this day , so IA might have been done
few days earlier itself).

But the thing is , i was scehduled for LA interview.
CIC told that they inform Interview date later.(Do not know when??)
My lawyer is saying , it might take 2,3 months time.

I also got medicals, FBI clearance requests with my IA letter.
But my laywer suggested , that we can do them , once we get
interview date.

Gurus , can anybody share LA interview experiences and
how much time we have to wait after file is transferred from
Buffalo to Los Angels.

I am new here too and I have the same question about the English proficiency requirement. Did everyone here went to get tested? If you wrote a letter of explanation, what did you have to mention?

Also, did everyone here hire a lawyer or is hiring one the preferred method?

My Lawyer says he applied during the month of november, he said he received some query from Cosullate to send my USA Visa papers during december 1st week, recevied my file number on jan 9th 2004.
 
Immigration4kot, I have not seen anyone with Jan 04 AOR who got IA. If you know about such a case do let me know as I applied in Dec 03 and got AOR on 19th Jan 04.

I am eagerly waiting for IA.

I am just 5 days behind you. I am also eagerly waiting for my IA. I have seen people from Jan 04 confirming thier IA.
 
People from '04 getting IA's? Wow.... I submitted in Dec '03 and my AOR was Jan '04..... I'm sitting on the edge of my seat here!

Question to Gurus

I had my medical done on 28th may;

Sent my FBI and Indian Police report on 28 th june.

Didn't hear any thing , so I sent a fax yester day asking me to inform if they have not recieved my Mediacl.

Will sending my Fax make the process slow ?

As i read somewhere that it takes more time if you inquire.....

Insights will be appriciated.
 
finally I sent my application to Buffalo, NY.. it may reach wednesday or Thursday..

Is there any document (xls sheet??) which will have every one's receipt date to track???

I had a tough time getting the 35 x 45 mm photos?!
 
How long does it take to get the FBI report these days? I sent our FBI finger print card four weeks ago, still did not receive anything from them.
