Anybody from feb 2002

Did anyone who applied in feb 2002 get their inital assesment yet.Buffalo in their current processing webpage say they are processing Jan 2002 , but they havent updated this webpage since Mar 24th.
 
Guys, i have a question for you if you can help.
My wife is living with me ,here in US .She was on visitor visa which has expired recently ,she is out of status.My qestion is, is it matter if she is out of status and include her with me for PR in Canada ( I 'm US resident GC).Or is it better to apply for her as she still back in my coutry .In that case where she 'll do her medical and to where they 'll send her the landing papers.Another issue is we're expecting a new born in October .

how to track Canadian immigration with the number

Greetings,

I filed for PR in March 2002 and moved to different location.

I never receieved the File No. or may have lost the letter. I have faxed the new address twice and requested the file number but no results.

Any suggestions?

Hi ,

I had recently got a first Initial assesment and my interview was waived off.
1) Can someone reply to my questions??They have asked for recent paystubs & recent W2 returns but I am on leave since May2003 so Can I just Aprill2003 paystub ( is only one paystub ok??)
2)Also now that I will have to pay the fees too, if for any reason I decide not to go to canada after I receive the final landing papers, can I still be eligible for refund for RLOF??
3) They had asked for transcript along but in India no one gives or has transcript can someone tell me if this is mandatory???
4)Now that they had waived off my Interview, Can I still submit my medical within six months or do I have to send them along with other supporting docs asked by them?? If I dont sent the medicals immly and sent the other docs immly, what will be their stand?? Will they send me a letter asking me to send the medicals??

One of my friend had required interview when he got medical forms back in September-2002 and now in May-2003 he got the letter that his interview has been waived. So, It may take about 5-6 more months for interview.

You can send documents seperately. You can send them medical whenever you want, but if they have asked to wait for six months beofre you go for medical then you can wait. Sometimes people completes medical immidiately and it expries in one year. They will never send you another letter to send medicals.

I am very new to this site. Can anyone please answer my questions?

I am going to apply for Canadian Immigration. Me and My wife are hin US in H1 Visa and my son is a US Citizen.

1. Do we want to apply or Do we want to include my Son in the application/FBI/Medical?

2. I don't have the Birth Certificate?

3. Before applying do we want to show the Bank Statement for the Dollars which they specified?Whether we have to show for me and my wife or we have to include my son also?

4. Do we have to get the Transcripts from the university sealed envelope?

5. Can we do our Medical Exam and FBI check before applying the application? or we can do later?

Did any of you guys take your medical recently ? We were asked to wait for 6 months which has expired. Does anyone know how long it will take for passport request after doing medicals now ?

Hi

I applied for canadian Permenant residence on Feb 6 2002 through Buffalo centre, I had 74 points at that time. As per the new rules i am falling short of 1 point. My application will be reviewed any time in the next few weeks.

Will my application be rejected?
Should i withdraw my application?

Please advise.

I still did not try for my medical as my Passport has been sent to US visa stamping. I am not sure if we need passport during medical or not.

About timing, as people posted in this forum I believe it might take beteen 3 to 5 months atleast.

I have read couple of issues in this forum that cic is also asking for some bank statements etc. So, I recomend that it's a good idea to send your recent paystub, bank statements (proof of funds) in advance along with medical forms.

I think now, they may also asks us to do security check again. Because the orginal FBI clearance certificate is valid for one year only. So, please post your thinking that should we also start security check in advance before they send us the query after medical and waste our un necessary time for another month.
And also there is no harm it doing it again and keep it ready. If they don't ask then we can keep it with us.

Post your ideas after the waiting for six months.

* Some delay casused due to photos, which I didn't send when I sent my passport to Buffalo. Visa office asked me to send them 3 photos. The letter that I received from Buffalo office about in March about sending them my passport for visa stamping, really didn't clearly mentioned about photos. So, MAKE SURE TO SEND 3 PHOTOS to avoid last minute delay.
