I'm on the same boat. But my notice said that they completed initial review of 1-485. Did yours say that too? My lawyer had said that it should take at least 3 months, but she's seen it take longer too - whatever that means. I guess you're looking at around 4-6 months until you hear about a date.

I know of people who switched jobs and got their actual GC in the mail while at the new job. You should go consult with an outside lawyer who doesn't have a relation to your employer.

It should not be a big deal. People who've gone through the experience said they were basic things about whether you had done anything illegal before or not. Confirming some facts on your application, etc.

Hi there - I am in exact situation. My interview is on Monday the 7th actually. My lawyer said exactly what your said, plus she explained that it's a biometrics appt. Meaning they'll take your picture. Doesn't sound too scary.

My attorney had said that IF I wanted, their office could provide me with a lawyer going to the interview. It didn't sound like a must-do.
