Can someone please explain how the "past-180 days" rule applies to approved I-140 cases? My I-140 was approved on Dec. 23, 2004. And my I-485 also got preliminary review (concurrent filing) but was passed on to NY office for an interview. I am still waiting for my interview call. But can I switch jobs if it's 180 days after Dec. 23rd and still have not gotten the final approval on I-485? Thank you for your help :)

Common belief is that AC21 allows employment change with I-140 approved and I-485 pending > 180 days (since I-485 RD). If you change jobs 180 days after Dec 23rd and you had applied for your I-485 at least on or before that, you should be good as gold.
