Hello Ravi, Mine was a 7th year Extention and the RD was Jan 16th. I received my approval on June 24 ( or around that time ). So your assumption that 7th year extention is taking longer than the regular cases may not be right. Hope you get your extension soon Regards luckyluck

According to the Visa Office , it takes 10 to 12 weeks for stamping. Do refer the http://travel.state.gov/hlop.html webpage for the latest information. I have done this twice( onec for transfer and the other for extension ) with absolutely no problems. Good Luck.
