I have filed concurrent I-140/485 about 2 weeks ago from Texas...My lawyer says it will take about 14 months for my I-140 to get approved.
Does that sound right to you guys, I am looking at the excel spreadsheet and my lawyer's prediction seems a little too stretched....
yeah i've heard that too....my friend was saying if you reapply today you ll get it faster because they have this new procedure that screws people who have been waiting and gives priority to new cases....
this is so ridicilously unfair
how come june 2003 people are getting certified when there are so many may 2003 people still waiting...I think I ve even seen 2004 people certified...
this whole thing is amazingly ridicilous
I have a question too.
Two years ago my attorney started the labor process from Atlanta since that's where our headquarters are. My home office is in Boston, we could have applied from Boston. At the time, I checked processing times and asked my lawyer why we are not applying from Boston...
I don't think anyone considers him/herself as second class citizens in this forum because none of us are citizens in the first place. But most of us know that we are considered as second or third class, forget citizens, human beings by many people in this country including government officers...
I agree....We do not have any rights whatsoever and we are at the sheer mercy of government officers when it comes to matters like this. If they get pissed, they might just as well start rejecting applications just because they feel like it and nobody would care.
I agree that no letter should...
There was this executive sitting next to me on a plane once and we talked about green cards and stuff. He was working for a large security company with a lot of projects with the government. He said that they can get green cards for their employees within months, he said they are connected in...
"Someone mentioned that we pay taxes and have a right to question (wishful thinking)... dude, we don't have any rights till we become second grade citizens (pun intended)"
i love it....exactly....
Hey all,
I revised the document with the latest updates and tried to soften/enhance the language a little bit.
Posting my latest version.
Thank you for your contributions.
I agree too and I am not against a lawsuit. This is about human rights; a right should be given humanely or not given at all, a green card in this case. They should either issue the green card in a timely manner or not give it all to anybody; it is against human rights to hold people's lives...
i feel you all... I ve been waiting for this thing for almost 3 years now and i haven t yet cleared LC...it looks like it s going to take another 3 to get the GC, regional moves 1 month in every three months, that s about a year to clear mine, another 2 to clear the 485 and i-40...isn t it...
I asked my lawyer and he said georgia is processing august 2002 and that he has seen stranger things when I told him about jan 2003 cases.
Did you talk to your lawyer Atl6e?
how is this possible, are there other considerations when processing applications that we don't know about? how come jan 2003, dec 2002 clears and not sept 2002, oct 2002. Any ideas?
