Can you update the forum, what is your remand about and if possible how it was handled.

Remand - A copy of internal job posting was not included.

Congratulations aryfly wish you good luck for your I140/485. Can you give us some more info about your remand and what did they ask about!!!

Is the print-out from the internet advertisement needed?

hello,

If the job posting is done on the internet AND on a newspaper, does a print-out of the internet job advertisement need to be submitted to the DOL? Tahnks.
 
How do I find out the status of my labor application?
My application was filed in Sep 2003 from Florida.

Man i am sooooooooooooo mad about this GC Process

Can't they atleast give us a hope of by clearing the
1st stage of the process.

If the 1st stage itself takes 2 1/2 yrs looks like we are in it for the loooooooooooong haul.

Rough estimates makes it a closer to a decade long haul.

Good luck for all of you guys who r trapped in this system, can't switch jobs,
can't ask for hikes, can't buy homes stuck in this hell were people are bound by the ETERNITY called the GREENCARD Process.

Question to wonderful members

I was recently, (finally!!) informed by my lawyer that my LCA application moved from Florida to ATL on Dec 2002. Yes folks, its been 18 months. Feeling lucky to have been given this info, I decided to call the ATL office. After much convincing, I was able to make the operator look up my case..as this was happening I was getting all excited that finally I will get to hear my status just as I hear the tracking info for any shipment made or am getting ready to receive. However, I was terribly dissapointed and now extremely worried, since the operator mentioned that my name does not show up in the computer along with other names that exist for the same employer.

On asking my lawyer, I was informed that a written confirmation was received when it moved from FL to ATL. I am not suppose to call ATL and hence can not confront the lawyer with the fact that I called.

Has any one on this forum experienced this? I am worried and so not know whom to trust--the highly paid educated lawyer or the lowly paid dumb operator.

I would suggest you to find out the case number with the employer in this web site.

and once you know your case number, you can find out in AVM system or if not present in AVM, call to Atlanta again..

At last ride to your lawyer as he deserve this..

What do the members of the forum think about calling Atlanta DOL on the same day? That way we might have more impact.
