Don't call IIO too much I am not against anyone. I think it is not a good idea to call IIO. This will only make the I-485 process slower unless they have a phone rep. team to only dedicated answering questions. I can imagine some IIOs have no time to work but answering phone calls.

I hope this is true too I just called my lawyer. He said the process in VSC is speeding up. The latest approval that they received was RD in OCT!!! However, he refused to give me any info about the approved cases.

before I-485 approved I think you can do it anytime before your I-485 get approved. I have a friend add his wife in the I-485 process after he has his FP done.

process will be delayed by interviews I suggest INS should send out RFEs to all June, July, Aug, Sept cases. Quick decisions will be made by completed RFEs in the order INS recieved. I know some people RD < July who are still waiting but they never got RFEs.... look like their cases go nowhere...
