I think you are making a BIG mistake of waiting till May 2012, cause after that there are only 4 months left of the fiscal year. Why not mary now ( only sign the papers and get the wedding certificate) and after that in May as scheduled you can hav ethe whole ceremony, a lot of people do that...

O so I understand that you have planed the whole ceremony and church and party in march for the wedding, but you can still sign the papers and be legally maried asap and get a wedding certificate and still have the party and everything else later, this will definetly save you a lot of time and...

Totally agree with you as this is a stupid question, and they don't ask that for a permanent resident, cause you supposed to live there , not just stay a while and then go home.

You had a whole year ahead and did not get the police certificate? you only have a month left, think about it, they might not have time to reschedule you for later. think twice, before you regret it.

If you are in that country, but why would you do CP in Montreal, when you are from Europe and you live in US, toally does not make sense (at least for me).

Congrats for getting selected. So from what I see is that you are from Europe, than how come your CP is Montreal? Your CP is done in you birth country wich by looking at the case number is not Canada and you are in US already, so it's kind of confusing.
