No Title just got off the phone from attorney. she says its your choice- join the new job and continue to be on payroll with sponsoring employer as long as you can/wish (you can do multiple jobs) OR quit officially and join the new job (in this case INS needs to be informed) either way...

how about this? convincing old company seems to be the biggest problem. so what i think you can do is.. if you get rfe, typically you have 3 months of time to respond. and i think your ead would be still valid until the 3 months time is over. considering the current processing times, anyone...

doesn\'t this look simple? no matter when you\'re laid off, before or after 180 days.. -just use ead to join the new job -have the old company continue the 485 process(they really don\'t have to do anything to continue) and pretend thats still your primary job -even if you get rfe, respond...
