well guys, i don\'t think there\'s any trend here. even if there is, there\'s nothing we can do to get our approvals sooner.
by the way, the information i posted earlier is true. and its not an age-out case. its a regular case- eb2/rir. they did fp around 10/25(was scheduled 11/8)...
received second fp notice after doing early fp. has anyone else got it too? if so, what are you doing about it?
done fp on 10/31 (scheduled on 11/4)
received second fp notice dated 11/2 (earlier than scheduled date)
avm says fp collected, case is pending for review
thanks

join the new job and continue to be on payroll with sponsoring employer as long as you can/wish (you can do multiple jobs)
OR
quit officially and join the new job (in this case INS needs to be informed)
either way...

if i get a job...

do you guys think talking to ins would help? or are they just gonna ask me to wait for approval?

how about this?
convincing old company seems to be the biggest problem. so what i think you can do is..
if you get rfe, typically you have 3 months of time to respond. and i think your ead would be still valid until the 3 months time is over. considering the current processing times, anyone...
doesn\'t this look simple?
no matter when you\'re laid off, before or after 180 days..
-just use ead to join the new job
-have the old company continue the 485 process(they really don\'t have to do anything to continue) and pretend thats still your primary job
-even if you get rfe, respond...
