Did FP, AVM Updated For Bongo

Guys,

Recall that my FP notice is at Oakland for 11/08

I did mine at San Jose on 10/10/01
Wife did them at Oakland on 10/11/01

Today the AVM says that my FP were received
by INS on 10/13/01 (hey isn\'t that Saturday)
But Wife\'s have not been received by the INS.

So it looks like going early to a different
Support Center doesn\'t appear to adversely
impact your case (I hope).

Good to hear that.

I think now there are even 2-3 known cases where Approval came before scheduled FP date - so surely early FP shouldn\'t adversely affect - and may actually be extra-beneficial for lucky few. Some benefits (like re-doing FP, if required) are obvious.
 
Hi Bongo, a question for you.

Right now do you work on H1b or EAD? I remember that you got you iEAD month ago?

I called INS yesterday at 3:10 and got connection in 5 mins. I called them to check quality of my FP and the IIO said it is good. I don\'t know if I should believe that or not.

I am still on H1-B.

When I move to new company in Jan of next year I will
do a H1 transfer.

VGuru, if the AVM machine says your FP were received
by the INS doesn\'t that mean they were received in good
order?

Guys can someone verify this?

That is what I am not sure about, I hope INS is more clear on this, when I took FP the technician commented that our prints are not good may be they will reissue FP again. I called FBI and called INS to check, IIO told they received the prints on 12th and I asked if they were clear and she said it is good. I don\'t know if she really mean and just told to finish up the conversation.

Ok on 10/15/01 the AVM for my wife\'s
case says her FP were received as well.

So this definitely means that going
early to get FP at a different ASC
doesn\'t impact how quickly the INS
gets your case.

I did FP on 10/09, AVM updated 10/13/01
She did FP on 10/10, AVM updated on 10/15/01

I went to different ASC, she went to right
ASC (listed on the notice).

Also if you look at:

You can see that doing FP early does have a
benefit (sometimes).
