Do you think INS will delay the immigration process because of the disaster?

The law firm handling my case posted a notice on its web-site. For the case processing, they mentioned 2 things:
- Processing delay due to severe mail delay, already happening with lack of domestic flights
- Insufficient adjudication officers since some of current adjudication officers will be switched to enforcement ones.
I guess INS will take at least some weeks to start and complete the second thing, as they has been slow for changing themselves...-.-;;
