Noticed a trend for the Days Approvals Get Registered on AVM

Did anyone notice that people who
find out about their approval
via the AVM:

Monday: Very few approvals if any
Tuesday, Wednesday: This is when most approvals get registered
Thursday Friday: Very few approvals if any.

I just noticed recently that the start of the week
we usually hear of a lot of approvals, but it dries
up towards the end.

Note I am talking about people who found out about their
approval by the AVM.
 
It looks like all/most approvals were dated 12/10 this wek

those who specifically mentioned specified 12/10 - and guys reporting mentioned that they received it in mail .. so may be all of the approvals reported in this week were approved on 10th!!
 
Another Trend

I also noted that the RD currently being approved
depends on the region.

For example, there are lots of guys in the Phoenix area with
RD of 04/30 and even 05/20 that got approved.

But no one in the Bay area got approved for such a late date.

As far as I can tell for Oakland they are up to 04/18 and
for San Jose 04/23.

If FP are done by location (as we know for sure by the San Jose
waiters) then maybe the Agency/FP/Background report that makes
the case ready for adjudication could be location based.

my friend in fremont(not listed here) with rd 5/15, nd 7/15 got their approval by mail last week
 
Can you confirm if it was not an age-out case?

Dates look inconsistent with what we have seen on the Board..

Greencraze, I hope you are right. I live in Fremont
so I hope they have moved the Oakland area dates forward.

Bhagwan is right. This is quite inconsistent with
what we\'ve seen here, though your friend maybe lucky.
 
Its not true that Phoenix cases are moving fast

My RD is 4/30 and ND is 6/29. I have filed the application from Phoenix. I did my FP on 11/03 and have not got an approval. I am not complaining but I think this theory of approval\'s based on the city is far-fetched.
 
All approvals posted in last week seem to have originated on 12/10

Today, bharat_vasi has posted approval - approval letter received in 12/14 - and I felt the same for all other approvals - either guys specified 12/10 or otherwise, it was letter or something ... I wonder if its some weekly stuff - in that case should see some postings tonight or tomorrow morning - I hope INS comes out with flood of approvals!!!
 
itwizard, I agree with you. Does not seem likely that approvals are location-based. No reason for IN

 
 
Guys, my point is ...

FP are sent out in batches depending on what INS support center
you are part of (Oakland, SF, SJ).

What is holding up our cases now is that the agency checks,
so why wouldn\'t that be batched according to the support center?

I just noticed that there are quite a few guys in Phoenix who got
their approval and have ND in late June, early July, but no other
area has such late approvals.

Hope we get ours soon.

well guys, i don\'t think there\'s any trend here. even if there is, there\'s nothing we can do to get our approvals sooner.

by the way, the information i posted earlier is true. and its not an age-out case. its a regular case- eb2/rir. they did fp around 10/25(was scheduled 11/8). i know its not consistent with what we see on this site, but hey.. not even 10% of total gc applicants visit this site.

whatever is the trend(if there\'s any) i think we\'ll all see our approvals coming soon- its about time for apr/may guys.
