Laid off, Status of Wife

Guys,

I just received notice I will be laid off
and Nov 13th is my official termination date
(including 60 day notice period).

I filed for AOS on 04/30 at CSC.

My wife will finish her studies on
Dec 20th. She is on a H4 visa.

Assuming my green card does not come
through and I don\'t find a job,
does she need to do anything to keep
on studying until Dec 20th?

Should she convert to a F1 visa?

I found out that she has dual status ...

The attorney says she can continue staying on as she has
dual status of H1-B and pending permanent resident.

Now if only my green card will come through,
pray for me I need a miracle !!!
