I got the same blue letter today. I who thought the days of dealing with this immigration service were behind me!!! This is the most inefficient service i have ever seen. Do the people working at the immigration service wake up every day and claim to go to work??? Because their lack of knowledge...

Lazerthegreat and Iwantmygcnow, I can not beleive that you guys are yet approved. I remember how difficult the wait was for me. I hope you get this card b/c not dealing with those lazy people (immigration) feels a whole lot better. Keep your heads up, guys. Good Luck!!!

To Mentos, The only email that i got was the one stating that i had been approved and that the notificatation had been mailed to me. To PM, Yes the GC is backdated to 04/2004. Thank you again for the wishes. Your turns are right around the corners.

Yes guys, this is my day, the day i am free. I got the long overdue email notice. I got my asylum in 1999, ND in 05/2000, FP in 05/2004, BIO on 08/13/05, and approved today on 08/16/05. It has been a long wait, full of frustration and perseverance. Guys, i want to thank each and everyone of you...

Yes guys, I finally also got my BIO notice by mail over the weekend. I'm scheduled for 08/13/2005. They surely are having their way with us. They send us a reply when they feel like it, they make us wait.... But at least they finally seem to be going in the right direction.

qsheb and company, You are not alone. I'm the oldest. My ND is 05/2000 and i'm fed up with this wait. I can't concentrate on my research(grad student) or my social life b/c of these people (immigration officers). I wonder why they get paid sometimes. :confused: I will still keep the faith...

I am in the same boat. My ND is in 05/2000. I sent in my RFI in April and I haven't heard anything ever since. Anyway, I'm used to waiting. :confused:
