Re: Re: Re: Raat Gai, Baat Gai.
I guess you are right. I know for sure that nothing went wrong at least on July 25th. A friend had a very non-eventful interview that day. So did everybody else who was there.
But I would still hope people come back and post a short message saying all is...
Re: Raat Gai, Baat Gai.
I hope its just that people are coming back to the US and will post their experience as soon as they get a chance. (An optimist?)
cP still faster
I think CP will remain fastest way to get the GC despite concurrent filing. It is anyways taking only 3-4 months for I140 approval. And who knows what additional hoops INS will make applicants jump for concurrent filing.
It will be an attractive option for many if they can...
medical
Finally got my p4! I was getting a bit concerned. :).
I have not heard of any opinions for or against any hospital for medicals. anyone heard of any bad experience?

Only glitch he faced was he had photographs from US (switched over from AOS to CP - had AOS photos), which were not accepted. But the photo facility inside the embassy...
You will have to do something called AC140, where the attorney sends the papers to the consulate. You will have to apply for 824 (application to transfer from AOS to CP) and use its receipt to file AC140 papers. Prabably what your attroney means is it will be simpler to do AOS, but you should...
Re: Pkt 4 and sailing permit
Where consulate sends P4 does not matter. If you have been in the US for long enough, you only need PCC from Indian consulate in the US.
You do not need sailing permit.
