I got mine today and its backdated. Looks like they realize what they were doing and fixed the problem.

here's my time line. Looks like my card is not ordered yet as there is no change in status since approval...may be cuz of holidays.

After waiting for exactly five years, they finally send me the magic mail of approval. My notice date is june 29 2000 and case got approved on june 29 2005! To all the people who are getting RFI notices they should get green cards in two to three months. Goodluck to you all!!! :)

My two cents.. In perfect world we should have got our GC once we apply ( with in months). I STRONGLY BELEIVE that only reason they backdate our green cards for one year is that since we were under probation for one year. That was the one year we can not apply for green card. They count that...

Karina, i do have I-94 which says that Asylum granted with expiry date as indefinitely. Is that should be ok?

its very important that you fix that. In my case they send me a mail saying that to fix it and they are not going to send any more mails till its fixed. So i send a AR11 and fix the address.

Same thing happened with me like a week ago. What happened in my case was my lawyer never changed the address for my application when he moved and the duplicate mail sent to him was undelivered.

ok guys, just got back from biometrics. The whole process was short and sweet. Took only ten minutes. They took picture and finger print. In my case they ask for driver license and EAD card (two form of identification). They stamp my fingerprint notification and said that don't loose it as...

I never travelled out of USA since i got here. I think thats not the case. I did applied for RTD once but never used it. How long it usually takes to get the mail after they sent out the email. Any idea???

Did anyone got a request for additional evidence after they sent out their G325A and medical? I already sent out the Medical , G325A and now i got a email saying that they had mailed me a letter on March 31st requesting for additional evidence. Is that a good sign Or means that I screw up...

Timelines I have noticed that some people with RD Nov 2000 have received RFIE, but others with earlier RD haven't got anything. What is going on here? Why there are inconsistencies? Is there anything to do with whether you got aproval from a AO or by a immigration Judge. :confused:
