Extend H1 - beyond 6 years possible It is possible to extend H1 beyond 6 years, if the I-140 is applied or AoS is applied for more than 6 months prior (or so). But apply for H1 extension positively or else you are out of status. Be careful.

I-140 Mandatory Normally, Consulate receives it from NVC. But it is better to carry the I-140 approval along with Labor clearence. In our case, Mumbai Consulate asked for it, since they did not get one from NVC. ( BTW -Ours was a attorney certified application).

That\'s fine H1B expiry does not matter. Have u got out of the country on or before the I-94 date. If yes, you are in perfect shape. If no, have you applied for H1B extension (though not yet approved). If not, pray god !!! Good Luck

PCC Hi Buddy, If no PCC, the case will be kept pending and you need to go again when u get the PCC from the Consulate / Passport Office.... Consulate has made it clear.

Kids need seperate PP For US visa, kids too need a seperate PP. Anyway check with Indian Embassy. Getting a seperate PP for the kid would be quick and easy.
