CP guru\'s, Is Original I-140 approval notice compalsary for CP?

Not usually. But sometimes

the consulate doesn\'t recieve all the paperwork from NVC in time (usually AC140 cases), so then they do ask for it. Better to carry it or atleast a notarized copy if you can, but not abs required.

My case is not AC-140. Eventhough is there any possiblility to ask for Original I-140 approval notice? (My lawyer messed up something)

Was asked for I-140 at cp interview.. told them I only had copies and thats all they wanted. it wa not notarized.
 
I-140 Mandatory

Normally, Consulate receives it from NVC. But it is better to carry the I-140 approval along with Labor clearence. In our case, Mumbai Consulate asked for it, since they did not get one from NVC. ( BTW -Ours was a attorney certified application).
