The only thing which needs to be understand that I said (If nothing found inconsistent, suspicious or negative during investigation, then case can be approved) and this is fact. I studied the laws and proper manuals. This sentence is not based on my personal opinion.
 
Guys, please help. My EAD status has been stuck on " under review by uscis" since july 2023. Has this happened to anyone? and when will this review end?

It shouldn’t be so long, but as this is the routine that every case will be stuck in USCiS. So nobody knows whats happening. Usually background check takes a month.
When your current EAD is expiring. The new EAD should be renewed before the expiry. Remain hopeful.

i honestly don't get why they delay EAD cards like that!!! people need to work and renew their license hmm for GC it makes sense to make extra checks as it's a permanent residency, but EAD isn't a big deal they can take it away anytime and deport the applicant.

No brother, this is not like that. As per law and policy at the time of every renewal they have to check the background to ensure the applicant’s history is clean because it may be possible that during this time the applicant might be involved in some kind of act(s) that prohibits to renew his work authorization i.e at work place, any serious collision etc etc. Although this is not a permanent residency but as long as the applicant is in the US, he or she needs to prove a good moral character in all respect.

Call USCIS and ask. You can also file for expedite request if you meet any of criteria shown on the website...

Yesterday a Nepali my co worker”S brother reach out to me to ask my lawyer info. as their “application pending” for 3.9 years wait turned into mid November 2023 “decision pending”
December 27 received their referral letter.
FOLKS EVERYONE IS BROKEN INSIDE DO NOT PREDICT JUST WISH EVERY GOOD LUCK.
I wish you all the best and to have positive and different luck from the Nepali family’s.

sue themmmmm what are you waiting for ? foreeal what the heck!!!! sue them and a decision will come to you in 60 days!!! unless your case is weak, and you are expecting negative decision so yeah i would understand!
 
Hi Family, today my status changed to "Decision is Pending" from "Interview Completed". It has been 2 years now since I had my interview. Does anyone know what this status change means? Please share if you know anything or had same experiences.

08/2022 Interview in Arlington Office
.....
in 2023 I sent a lot of emails to Arlington Office/Ombudsman/Congressman about decision and always received pending decision or you need to wait or something like that (auto response i think). Also I moved in FL.
.....
01/2024 I filled Mandamus with lawyer.
01/2024 3 weeks later (couple days ago) lawyer said I has been approved and sent me letter. Today status has been changed to waived fee.

Total 7 years

P.S. I filled and prepared everything without lawyer except mandamus on last step (to get decision)

I inquired about my case status as i completed interview in NOV 2021 and waiting for decision.
i got reply
"According to our service records, this case is currently under review by an asylum officer. The decision will be completed and mailed to you as soon as circumstances permit."

what are you waiting for? just sue them!!! easy peasy! why you guys wasting time by keep waiting? just sue them and get a result in 60 days
