Waiting Asylum decision

Hi there,
I am waiting for my decision since Nov 2022 at SF office. Since then I am stuck with security and background check as I contacted them multiple times. Last week I received a notice for biometric (fingerprint) for my son 13 years old. He was the only one from the family who selected to do biometrics! Does anyone have experience with such situation? and is that a good or bad sign for our decision? Thanks!

it’s neither good nor bad. Minors are called for finger prints. Same happened to my son. He was the only one in my family called for finger prints. He was also 13. 3 months.

it means nothing at all! just a regular thing to be happen but it has no relation with your pending decision at all.

just for your info when they tell you it's stuck at background check it's all bs an false info to give themselves more time cause the background check the complicated one doesn't take more than 2 weeks!! courts finish any background check in less than 1 week so it's all excuses by USCIS.

Hello,

Waiting for an asylum decision can undoubtedly be a period filled with anxiety and uncertainty. It's important during this time to ensure that you have all your legal bases covered and to stay informed about the process and any potential changes in the immigration laws that could affect your case.

One way to ensure you're well-prepared is by seeking guidance from legal experts who specialize in immigration law. They can offer personalized advice tailored to your specific situation, helping you navigate through the complexities of the asylum process. For instance, xxxxxxxxxxx offers comprehensive legal services and could provide the support you need during this critical time. You can learn more about their services here: 4M Legal and Tax Law Firm.

Remember, while the wait can be challenging, focusing on what you can control — like having the right legal support — can make a significant difference in your peace of mind and the outcome of your case.

Best wishes,

I have a question. Long story short for a friend case . He is an asylum pending decision for over an year now while also he is on tps . He applied for travel documents based on tps case but what he noticed that when he checked the online status it says that uscis actively reviewing your AOS case and no action needed . So my question is could be that just a mistake or uscis can change what case they process note there is no change on his asylum case status online .
