good luck and don't panic as sometimes fees are waived only happens for few hours then disappear. just wait for the decision and wish for the best.

Hey, I’ve been waiting for decision (affirmative and in NY) for two years now. Did you reach out in person? Because reaching out by email didn’t help me.

Writ of mandamus all the way if you’re willing to spend $4400 that’s what you really need

I’ve been following your posts for a while and I’m glad to see you’re helping people here, but I think things have changed since you were applying for any benefits from the USCIS!
Nowadays, no Congressman or inquires work for USCIS!!! They only know the legal language, so you need to sue them in order to get an interview, decision or GC if it took longer than expected.

I see. Yeah, I agree - in the old days, there were few cases so congressmen etc could help.

Is there any advise you can give? i interviewed since July 2022, wrote congressman twice and senator once and they all came back with the same result " background check still on going" thanks

Hello. If you didn’t try yet. Try FOIA, you may see assessment on your case.

You should have had a lawyer with you so that the lawyer could write the weak points of the case so that it can be used in court but to tell you the truth, you just messed it up yourself! Because the officer’s notes will be given to the judge, and now you have no idea why you were rejected at asylum office. People should be more careful about serious matters like this. It is not a joke!
 
I just got on EOIR to check my A-number just for "fun" and found out that I've been scheduled for a master hearing(!!!) But USCIS still hasn't sent me their decision after the interview.... how was I supposed to know?! ridiculous

what's going on recently ?? many people get transferred to the court!!!! stay strong you still will have a second chance, but you need to be more patient cause now as things will take longer time.
