Waiting Asylum decision

Today I received my new EAD based on new status(granted asylum), but it’s been almost 2 weeks that I have not received the actuall approval notice. Do you guys know how long typically take the get the notification?

Hello everyone. On August 1st, I had an asylum interview at the NY Asylum Office, and on the same day, the status in my account changed to "Decision is Pending as of August 1st." I've been waiting for a decision for almost 4 months now. Yesterday morning, I finally received the long-awaited email: "We have taken an action on your case. Sign in to your account to view your case status." I spent the whole day refreshing my account on the laptop, hoping to finally see the decision. However, I didn't see it. This morning, I checked my account again, and there have been changes: the status remains the same, but the date has been updated. So now the status looks like this: "Decision is Pending as of November 29th." Why did only the date change while the status remained the same? Could this mean that a decision might finally arrive in the coming days? Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

100%

Maybe, now the supervisor is reviewing your case. When the review is completed then your status will be changed. Hope for the best and pray.
Thank you friend! Based on your experience, how long does it usually take to make a decision?

Check the EOIR website with your A-Number.
I had my interview on Aug 23 in the NY Asylum office, I did not get any update from USCIS at all but by some cosmic energy kick I decided to check the EOIR website on November 29 and I found my case in court.

Thank you for your feedback. I've already checked several times yesterday and today. Fortunately, No case found for this A-Number. And Travel history i94 is empty as well. I am sorry to hear your sad news ((

Friends, I have another question... When I enter my asylum case Receipt Number (MGL2*****) into the CaseTrack app (USA icon), it identifies it as i-589, but when I enter it into the Lawfully app, it identifies it as i-765. Where does Lawfully get this incorrect information? Could it be related to my case being sent for EAD A5 card processing?

When you last EAD was renewed ?

When you received the EAD. Did you receive any additional letter along with to create an online account?
If your interview is done then the situation can be different but if your interview is still awaited then normally it shows that type of status. Because without interview you are not eligible for A5 EAD

I’m curious too. I had my interview in July 2022 and yet my decision is pending. However, when I added my case to Lawfully it identifies it as I-765, CaseTraker app identifies it as i-589. I contacted congressman, ombudsman several times and lately I received the following statement, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) indicated that they required additional time to research the issue. Since USCIS systems do not reflect a decision or notice has been issued, we sent a follow-up inquiry to the USCIS office with jurisdiction over your immigration form today.
Any thoughts?

Based on the above-mentioned response, it seems that your case is critical, they didn't adjudicated your case and they are still working on it. Any prediction will be before time. So wait till next inquiry and their response, then the situation may become clear.
