May I ask which country you are from?

China or India? I saw from another website that a Chinese got his approval yesterday, his RD was 7/12/06.

interim EAD?

If it passes 90 days after I file my EAD renew application, could I get interim EAD card? I know we could before, but don't know if we still can do it now or not.
 
New rule.

I have attached the new rule for your reference. The new rule says that USCIS must adjundicate EAD case before Day 70. So at Day 70, if you still have not received decision from USCIS, you should print the attached document and show it to USCIS officer during infopass to request for expedite. If you received RFE at Day 70, the day will reset to Day 0 for another 90 day waiting period. In this case, bring your RFE with the printout of the attached document to USCIS officer during infopass to request for interim EAD. Hope this helps.
 
Yep, The letter that received from FBI confirmed that my Name Check was completed on March 28th and was submitted to USCIS office in Washignton on March 29th. The letter was personally signed by the Chief Section Officer - Name Check Division blah blah..

I'm reattaching the template that used, modify it the way you wanted it.

I sent the letter along with
1. FOIPA report,
2. Police Clearence Certificate (That i got in India, which was a requirement for Australian Visa)
3. MY FBI finger Print Report (Which was a part of the back ground check that my employer did on 2002)

My husband and I filed 140-485 in Sep 2005. We were called for FP in Oct 2005. we got EAd in dec2005. 140 got approved in March 2003 and 485 was transferred to TSC then.

Since then only one LUD was on 11/26/2006. Last week we were called for FP again on 4/17/2006.

Why were there 2 FPs?

I have tried calling TSC using poj technique but it was no use.

I got my EAD renewed in 40 days last DEC and AP in 20 days this March.
But the 485 is taking forever.

Does everyone have to undergo fingerprinting twice?
What is the average time between FP and 485 approval?
Is NC before or after FP?

I would be grateful for any replies
 
The finger print do expire after a while (i believe it expires after 18 months, my be 12 not so sure). This is normal.

Thanks, Bystander6! This is very helpful. My EAD will be expired on 5/31/2007. If I do not receive the new card, could I still work or I have to stop until get the new card?
 
Usually it is 15 months. But there are couple of cases I have noticed in this forum that ever after 17 months they were not asked for second FP. don't ask why? anything is possible with USCIS. :)

SRR: your I-140 got approved in March 2003 or 2006? your timeline is similar to mine. when was your file transferred?
