It partly explains why the I-485 time has gone backwards to December 13 2005.

crazy_frog said:w220, I think they ARE worst case processing times. Those people who have been waiting for years don't have a current PD, do they?
Do you know anyone (a regular case) who has been waiting for years since his/her PD became current?

We got 8/25 and 8/28/2006 two LUD on our I-485, nothing happened yet.
Any news for you?
richshi said:How many people got their I140 approved within 1 month? 2 months? or 3 months? The "official" processing time was at Feb 2006.
Nearly all people filed I140/485 in July got their EAD and AP. The "official" processing time stayed at April 2006.
The "official" timeline posted on USCIS website gives you the worst scenario.
LUD does not appear to mean anything.crazy_frog said:No unfortunately those two LUD's is all I got. Hopefully you'll hear something today LongLostHopeIN.

gunt said:why don't you file for EAD/AP and then you won't need to renew your H1-B. It is much cheaper. Forms I-131 and I-765. This will allow you to work and enter the country while your I-485 is pending.
